change name OPENCPN and version to custom name and logo

I would like to be able to customize the name that appears when opening the application at the top and the logo, is this possible?

There are no settings for this.
Since its a opensource program you can build from source and hack what you want.
Personally I do like the both the name and icon and have had no reason to find out what to hack.

Neither of those would be difficult to change in the source. However, whatever reason you might have to do so might be a license breach-not entirely sure. You could make the change and install on your own computer without issue, but if you intend to distribute it to others, then that becomes an entirely different question.

The source is freely available on github. You are free to clone it and modify it within the license restrictions, also on github.
