Re: Beta Test / Technical

NSIS cpack runs fine on plugins, so I think I will just git clone a new OpenCPN.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

OCPN 4.5 recent master fetch.
Win10 - VS2013

AIS "mouse over" info box is always showing the info from the first time used after OCPN program start irrespective of what target I later is pointing on.

Check attached picture. First I've pointed to "BOB" on upper left corner and now, while screen shooting, to "LEDA" in the middle.
The only way to clean the info box message is to restart OCPN.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

I can confirm Håkans report, using git updated 10 minutes ago.

That does not clear the problem, it just repeats it with, possibly, another target showing in all targets rollover.

It's just a problem with the rollovers. The "Target Query" is correct.

David

More on latest git.

No blue raster charts in the chart bar. All is yellow/black even though only raster charts are loaded.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

I was been taken in also by these famous patches from Sean Depardieu.
I should have known better not to use any patches from this guy.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Weatherfax_pi no longer works in Windows, have tried 4.2 4.2.1 4.4 4.5 with downloaded 5001 and also have tried building with opencpn.lib 4.2 and 4.4

It builds and installs but does not do anything, both my builds and the build from Downloads.

@Hakan...
AIS Rollover update fixed in current github master.

@cagney...
Could not reproduce the corrupted yellow chartbar. Is it still trouble with fresh build from current master?

Thanks, guys
Dave

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Win10 new issue:
Route properties OK-button creates a crash.

To reproduce:
>> On a route open route properties. (Either by right click, properties, or by "Route & Mark manager" - route - properties.
>> Click the OK button. (No need for changes but if done these are actually saved before the crash)
>> Route properties window hangs. (Not responding)

More info:
The crash is not OpenGL dependent.
The "Cancel" button works fine.

Dave

All is well with with the chartbar and the rollover in this mornings git master.
I can repeat Håkans route properties crash. Do you need a ddd dump?

Thanks!

Re: Beta Test / Technical

What about this famous piece of code in file TrackPropDlg.cpp ?
No wonder printing does not work.

Code:
void TrackPropDlg::OnPrintBtnClick( wxCommandEvent& event )
{
//    RoutePrintSelection dlg( this, m_pTrack );
//    dlg.ShowModal();
}
Either fix it or delete the useless button also.

Re: Beta Test / Technical

Printing does not work for routes either for me. It produces a pdf file that is empty.

I think that printing routes and tracks should optionally include rendering the track graphically rather than just printing a table anyway.
