I have started rewiring my contessa 32 I am wondering the best way to handle multiple manufactures NMEA2K connections. I have
raymarine wind, speed,
depth, i50/i60 displays. I have a
garmin gpsmap 743xsv chart plotter/
fish finder. I also have
garmin AIS 800 and a standard horizon 1850
vhf. I bought a garmin backbone starter kit and I'm realizing they don't
plug into each other. Currently I have 3 garmin
NMEA T connectors on the starboard side. 1 each for
vhf and
AIS. And the 3rd is my
power T. I have a termination
plug at one end of these 3 T's. I am going to use an extension cable to get to the port side of my
boat where the garmin
chartplotter and W,S,D will come together and the 2nd terminator plug will be installed. I know this is long winded but what should I use to connect the port side.
Raymarine cables that came with i50/i60 to garmin
NMEA?
