So .....how much does a man cost?

Seriously folks...

Women (well most) do not really know how to spend money..

What I hear you say? How about all those shopping trips, new shoes, must have handbag, a little black number, not to mention the obsession with makeup and creams that promise to take years off you.. (ever wondered about those? If they really do work then most women should be going through puberty in reverse!!!).

Men on the other hand seem to know how to blow the dosh.. the capital cost of a boat will buy thousands of pairs of shoes.. Then we have to look at the upkeep? mooring, insurance, and the everso necessary high tech kit like chart plotters, radar, Dynema halyards??

Then there is the means of transport? A car is simply not enough. It has to be a Stingray or a Beema(3M) or a Hummer.. Get the picture...

So really now much do they cost?

I do NOT know. Never had one, never wanted one. But each to their own.

Coops.

Re: So .....how much does a man cost?

Not much...a nice scotch whiskey, pair of jeans, couple of t-shirts. I think a more interesting topic would be "what does it take to run a man?"
(that should stir the ole pot)

OMG! New video games system, dlsr camera, motorbike, vintage comic book collection, huge tv + full cable package + other miscellaneous electronics, car/insurance/gas, food (gosh can they eat!), beer, vacations with indoor plumbing... I don't watch TV/ play vid games or drink, I take the bus, eat modestly, love camping. In my world, hubby is the spendy one - good thing he is worth it.

So in other words, you don't want to have to pay for his man-toys which cost far more than your woman-toys?

Yawn......more postulating. Going off to dig up the "beat the dead horse" thread.

Or if it cheers you all up, I'll just bring the cross, and you can bring on the nails and hammer.

Yes.

I said that on Easter Sunday.

Cheers????

Re: So .....how much does a man cost?

I am as cheap to run as the first mate ... IF we keep her many pairs of shoes away from the equation ;-)

Thanks gods some of her shoes ARE deck shoes.
