Types of Boat and Medical Insurance

We are heading towards our 1st boat purchase before the end of the year and I was curious as to how insurance works? Do you just take out one policy that does it all? Or does it change if you only use the boat weekends, if you are of the hook, traveling, etc! We hope to get a 38-44 Vessel and travel quite a bit, just wondered more or less what to expect to pay! Also was curious what you do regarding medical matters, I have private medical insurance that cover me here in Spain and UK as well as state coverge, but you guys that are traveling to lots of different countries, how do you cover yourself? Costs? Thanks!

reccomend doing a 1st aid course,and good comperhensive medical kit,sutures,anti biotics etc,
check your credit card company they normally will also supply travel insurance.
otherwise regular extreme sport insurance is about £500 plus per year with casevac and return to uk.
