Re: Sandy Island... A CIA conspiracy?
Google earth now shows it as a black spot on an underwater mountain top.
It could be just a rock the jetties out at low tide. I've seen this before just out side of Guam. It showed up on the chart as an island but waves were crashing completely over it. A strange sight when surrounded by nothing but ocean.

^Nope! Shallowest water at the phantom island's location is 1300 metres.
I think it's a portal to a parallel world.

Re: Sandy Island... A CIA conspiracy?
Who gave it a name? Usually, the first to land on an island, gets to name it. Since it is called Sandy Island - someone should have been there

This could also be just a copyright trap. They're not uncommon on maps.

South Pacific Island discovered......to not exist!
"A South Pacific island, shown on marine charts and world maps as well as on Google Earth and Google Maps, does not exist, Australian scientists say.
The supposedly sizeable strip of land, named Sandy Island on Google maps, was positioned midway between Australia and French-governed New Caledonia.
But when scientists from the University of Sydney went to the area, they found only the blue ocean of the Coral Sea.
The phantom island has featured in publications for at least a decade.
Scientist Maria Seton, who was on the ship, said that the team was expecting land, not 1,400m (4,620ft) of deep ocean. "

small islands come and go with some frequency. As for your list of anomalous oddities, this post would get pulled if I took the time to educate you, so I guess you can eat your turkey in the bliss that comes from hiding your head in Sandy Islands. Lol

I understand that, in retaliation for the theft of their island, France has launched a fleet of Open 60 warships to invade Australia.
