Re: cloudflare blocking access

I seem to be able to naviagte the forums on both of my browsers.

Maybe it was a ddos attack.

About a year and half ago someone launched a ddos attack against my email provider, Protonmail. It took them down for like a week. They suspect it was a state actor.

Re: cloudflare blocking access

Having cloudflare protection does add to the sitehosting cost, usually visitors never notice it.

During an attack their countermeasures become more noticeable, but still allow most members setup access at minimal inconvenience.

So thanks are due both CF management and their service providers.

Re: cloudflare blocking access

I wonder if the rather aggresive anti-tracking, cookie management, privacy apps I use are contributing?

Hopefully everything has returned to normal now. Unfortunately when Cloudflare kicks in to thwart a DDoS with the browser check it can also stop members who may be surfing on non-traditional connections.
