The funny thing is... you could reasonably argue Internet Explorer is an obscure browser now.

I am sure I remember when it used to be around 95%.

Re: cloudflare blocking access

IE was retired 3+ years ago, deprecated long before that.

Microsoft Edge is their current browser, now powered by open-source Chromium, sponsored by Google.

And I don't know why you think there's any problem with cloudflare, it is doing its job best as it can.

And therein lies the problem, if this is the best they can do it's not very good.

Yeah, I know all that, but have a look at the numbers... IE and Edge COMBINED only make 6.8% now! How things have changed. I remember watching IE knock Netscape off the ladder, back in the late 90s from memory. Now IE/Edge is in the same basket.

We're still here communicating.

If you know how to deal with DDOS attacks more effectively you can make billions.

Not so long ago there were no possible defenses

Re: cloudflare blocking access

If, indeed, there is a DDoS attack on CF or its hosting service. It's actually pretty easy to tell from the server side, not so much from the client side, and a quick note from an admin here would get us all to shut up and allow them to get on with dealing with mitigation. It's just the polite thing to do for your user base if/when there are problems. And, yes, I know that sometimes you get busy in the 'dealing with it' phase and forget about the customers.

I'm using the latest Firefox on Win10 and just get the 5 sec delay notification but otherwise no problems. I also use AB+.

Re: cloudflare blocking access

I have very slow access at the moment, limited to cellular data on my iPhone. I can access the website but not PMs.
