Bottom Paint

Thanks in advance for your input!
I keep my fiberglass sedan in brackish water.
What is the Best bottom paint for her, so very many to choose from.
Secondly, are two coats worth the time and expense?
I’m hauling her tomorrow, again thanks for your expertise and knowledge!

Some very good paints for saltwater are very adversely affected by fresh water (Micron 66, for example). We travel back and forth between and have been very happy with SeaHawk's BioCop, an ablative paint that works in both. Two coats are definitely worth it for any paint.

But... a paint formulation's performance can vary a lot depending on local environment and biology. Your best place to get a recommendation is locally.

Re: Bottom Paint

I’d even say three.
Two over the whole bottom and a third around the water line and any other high wear area.
Or one with the second only on high wear areas.
