Question Bottom Paint For Textured Bottom

Stupidly, I put an epoxy barrier coat on with a roller with a 1/4 inch nap.
Got a textured bottom.
Being hard headed must be an advantage for something.

Boat will be trailered and in fresh and salt water.

Considering Pettit Vivid

What paint do you suggest to smooth the bottom?

Re: Bottom Paint For Textured Bottom

I'm with Sailmonkey. You won't smooth the bottom by adding paint. You need to sand it smooth.

The good news is Petit VIvid recommends an 80 grit surface prep so it should go fast...
