Re: Coastguard - fake news "rescue"

More bad news and they don't seem to be fake:

"Our dear friends, Patrick and Sandy of SV Yacht Cruz, a 52 foot Irwin ketch are missing at sea. Last contact Jan 2 off southern coast of Baja California. USCG and Mexican Navy have recovered two PFDs and their EPIRB."

Re: Coastguard - fake news "rescue"

and a strange story:

"Walking along the beach last night at Elbow Cay (Hope Town, Abacos), we came across the wreck of s/v Ellipsis (a Westsail 32).

I tried to catch as much of the story as I could gather, two men a a dog were on a sail up from Puerto Rico to St. Augustine when they ran aground on the reefs north of Elbow Cay after their engine and electronic died. The prop fouled and the two men were able to navigate the boat to the sandy beach. Both the men and the dog are ok!"
