Looks like they are trying to sell their neighbor's boat.

Maybe the neighbor is tired of looking at the boat?

Well, I am not sure this is exactly on point, not the worst ad I have seen but it is certainly a bit of false advertising. I mean, the add is for a power boat, but if you look real hard ( without distraction) you will see a sailboat within. False advertising? Perhaps listed with accessories not included?

Obviously an over-aged adolescent who thinks that all boat buyers are as puerile as he is. Even if this was the perfect boat for me, at the perfect price, I would probably pass it on by, just because I am sure the seller is going to turn out to be -- like most people who are that immature -- very difficult to deal with.

Unless, of course, she's included in the sale price.

Sadly both are like boats, we are happy and proud right after the purchase, but the maintenance will kill you.

Apologies in advance for further a sexist stereotype, no matter how true it may be.

I kinda enjoyed that ad, and hopefully people are calling me adolescent when I'm in my 80's and rocking a chair on a porch

Re: Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Yes there are times when maturity is an admirable trait to aspire to if you set goals for yourself that include taking on responsibility for others.

But if you do it right, you later earn the privilege of casting it away when no longer desired and it has become an unnecessary straight-jacket to enjoying life.

It's a fine thing to keep a little playful adolescence in your character as you grow older. It's quite another thing to let it run rampant when you are trying to work a business deal.

Yes I was speaking in the abstract, not arguing that marketing strategy is actually effective.

Post the Worst "For Sale" Picture You've Seen.

Well if I die tomorrow someone is getting a pretty well maintained c&c 27, a v6 Mgr, a gmc rv and a yoshimura Honda 350. And she’s probably going to pay you to take them all :-;
