The rush is on...

Quote:
The CBC on Wednesday confirmed that Canada’s immigration website crashed after an election night traffic spike.

Remi Lariviere, spokesman for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, told the CBC that the government agency’s site “became temporarily inaccessible to users as a result of a significant increase in the volume of traffic” on Tuesday as Donald Trump marched to victory.

If you are going to immigrate, make sure you fit in with the local culture.

Never heard that view point. Career politicians do not seem to be an overall positive in the USA.

I (really!) have two brothers-in-law named Bob and Doug. I guess in my case the answer is obvious!

I've got 7 out of 10 requirements. Padded knees, earmuffs and mouse in beer are lacking. Am I close enough?

I think this video sums up the requirements... and lots of fun to watch.

Might look for a houseboat in BCif things don't get as great as promised.

Till then, I'll be poking around the Bahamas and Cuba periodically checking the status.

Glad I arrived in Mexico last year.
Made it back before the election madness. Now I know I made a good move. My friend says I am Mexicana Blanca.

Good for you! We are scrambling to get out of here as fast as we can. I want to be called Mexicana Blanca too! (but I'm not I insulted by gringa if it's said with a smile).

Re: American invasion of Canada rehearsal

I sincerely hope my Canadian friends will put up with me. I will be on my way in the spring. I will bring a modest supply of good IPA. I will not be seeking asylum, rather fleeing from the asylum. So be nice please, its sad enough already.

Why do none of the people unhappy with Trump threaten to move to Mexico. Weather is warm and sunny
