Sure I can accept that, that sorta stuff always happens to some degree but what I found interesting were these fact checkers remarks that suggested that he lied about the subject matter about once every 2-1/2 minutes compared to Clinton ratio of once every 13 minutes or so. I also know that we humans are very bias and only hear and believe what we have been preprogrammed to hear and believe, it's just part of our makeup. We have to just accept that we are all this way. I tried to temper that somewhat by reading info from both sides during the election "Townhall" is a right wing source I read as well as the Huffington Post for the left leaner. I'm more conservative in nature and have never voted Liberal but I'd say fiscally conservative but socially more liberal.

No, no... this is about floating between the US and Canada and beer.
To sum it up, Canadians think their beer is better but welcome Americans who come north bearing new beers to try.
Americans think it's generally too cold too to float across the St Lawrence — even for good beer, but are willing to send sacrificial political dissidents to "test the waters."
People from away think that North American beer is as silly as it's politics.
Everyone agrees that Donald Trump likes beer, but just the American brands made by the big breweries. He also doesn't float.
See! No politics at all. ( Just ignore the ammunition digression.)

Re: American invasion of Canada rehearsal
OK, let’s all agree to meet somewhere near the border, go tubing down one of our really warm rivers, and get smashed on each country’s best craft beer . Just don’t be sneakin' in any of that bubble water like Bud, Blue, Coors or Molson Canadian.
Come to think of it, getting really smashed is probably the best way to approach the next four years. Just like watching a cult film, it will likely make more sense being drunk or stoned.

Great idea! I've never done it, but I hear the Columbia River in BC/Washington is perfect for the aforementioned plan, tubes and all. Where do I sign up?

Blue actually has a purpose, you can drink it if it gets warm. Don't try that with Bud, Coors, or Molson.
Rafter? Near the border? I got an idea:

That would be epic. By the way, how did Canada get the better falls? I mean look at the wimpy American Falls compared to the Horseshoe Falls.

Re: American invasion of Canada rehearsal
Maybe the Microbreweries brew some beer in the US, but there is NO mass produced beer here.
Remember the joke about American Beer being similar to making Love in a canoe?

Oh and the 7.62 x 51 is an outstanding cartridge, I still have some Military Match ammo laying around, 162g boat tail hollow points.
The AK however is a piece of cheap crap, I'm surprised at you Ken, I thought you liked the finer things in life?
I'm a 22-250 handload in a Bull Barrel good bolt action type myself, I just can't love the .204 Ruger

Shhhhh! We don't talk about Refuge Cove in front of conservatives.

22-250 is a very hot round and an excellent varmint gun but jeez it's noisy. In our neck of the woods you need something with less noise. I have a nice little K Hornet that works really well and is not too noisy but these little 17 cal are interesting.

Jeezus...
Just get a suppressed .300 whisper (.300 blackout if you like AAC) and forget about noise level entirely. Those heavy Sierra matchkings are incredibly accurate and carry a lot of energy. Run the ballistic table and see what I mean.
It is simply the best way to open a beer without having to walk few hundred yards to your Prius.

We have two AR15 rifles, and four Vepr AK47 variants. I suggest you aquaint yourself with the Vepr variety of AK, which is nothing like the garden variety. I prefer a gun which fires every time I pull the trigger.
Now back to the subject of this thread. You guys brought up guns, not me. I just wrote that I went shopping for ammo.
I think it would be much more appropriate to take up this subject in the gun forum, Mr. Moderator.
