If you are not using any plugins but grib and dashboard, could you please provide us with your opencpn.ini?

General note about plugins on Windows: If you use ANY plugin but the dashboard and grib that are part of the distribution, YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THEM to be able to use this 2.6 beta on Windows - it is built with a new toolchain and linked against a new set of the runtime libraries, so a recompile to the plugins is needed.

I can see you have the WMM plugin enabled. Please go to your plugins directory and delete the DLLs.
At least for the plugins I develop myself (WMM and GE), the new builds working with this beta will be available shortly.

I did what you said, but as soon as I try moving the chart either with the mouse or arrows of the keyboard, it bug and tell me that .exe will close and windows will tell me what to do. How? (Windows 7 home edition)

I have uploaded the 64 bit Ubuntu package, for others to test. For my own experience see post #2 in this thread.

Trying to run this package I came as far as the dialog about a possible mismatch regarding libgps (this still pops up every now and then, so nothing surprising) and then the same error message as above.

Migration to wxWidgets 2.8.12 and to MVS 2010 successful ...
Just a small problem :
after a built , if I launch opencpn in MVS 2010 (menu debug ) , I get an error message (see shot attached ) MVS is searching for a file who does'nt exist instead of effectively launching opencpn (as does MVS 2008 )
It's not very important , just boring ...
If some one has an idea of what to do ...
