If I open taht link I can see "Project-Id-Version: opencpn 2.6.1718\n" but some translators already have 1729 or even 3.0

There are no new or changed strings in the later versions, this one's good for 3.0. The pot in the trunk will be updated again during the 3.1 beta cycle.

Changes to translation...
The po files at the github is not updated with the files in the current beta.

A few things have changed and are not translatable... Such as "User Interface", "Toolbar and Window Style" in the toolbox. Also the style names should be translatable.

In toolbox - Vector charts: The string "De-Clutter Text" was removed from the po file a while back and is not translatable any more...

Can you make sure to update the po files to the latest please.

Usually I have downloaded the po files from SourceForge GITWEB

The reference repositories are now located on Github, at https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN

Normally the beta_XX_stable branch should be your source for .po files.
For the first 3.1 beta the .po update was unfortunately forgotten, so right now the master branch has the latest .po's for the beta.

Note that in general, the master branch is not guaranteed or even supposed to be stable, so always use data from there with caution. It may be in the middle of getting changed.

Well in the beta the english original was misspelled, so the .po in the master branch directory has the correct spelling. Translate the correctly spelled entry in the .po and the next beta will be OK automatically.
