Re: Which Forum Member Would You Like To Go Cruising With and Why?

Atoll, neilpride, Jim and Ann, the Majorca Squad, boatie, and a whole bunch of others too! Sure would be fun to do a get together of some sort, perhaps a bit closer to home for me than Majorca?

It would probably be fine as long as there was a standing watch on MarkJ.

I think boatie Phil may be more of a concern...

I have a list of those I would love to sail with so I can tell them what morons they are.

Maybe just cuff the two together so they're easier to watch.

They'd commandeer the vessel for sure!

Re: Which Forum Member Would You Like To Go Cruising With and Why?

I think a cruise with all of the global warming alarmists and deniers would be (hysterical) fun.

I would add, having sundowners with everyone and listen to each and everyones stories of life.

Maybe that would be a good mission. Making a video documentary of CF cruisers and sailors. From the characters with an opinion to the old and not so old sea salts who's words of experience and instruction would be wonderful to document and archive over drinks.

True enough. But still nothing like a face to face discussion over coffee, rum and coke or gin and tonic. Or a SVDelos moon shine.

Many appear to know much and are good instructors, and a few seem outstanding. But all things considered, I prefer to solo.

I guess it is up to each to decide who is blowing smoke and who isn't. I would hope the negatives are kept to one's self.

No point in a s@#t throwing contest.
