Re: Got a plastic classic?

A small part of what else is going on. All interior lockers primed and painted in the v-berth. Everything else got a nice new paintjob of Interlux perfection. All of the doors and drawers have been refinished and are waiting on installation at some point in the future.

One of the Restored hatch lids. This one is for the Lazarette finished in Awlwood.

Re: Got a plastic classic?

My plastic classic is a Spencer 42 from 1966 (hull 3). I bought it in Florida in 2000 and sailed it to Denmark. After 20 years coast hopping in Denmark and Sweden, Blixen is soon going ocean sailing again. You can follow our journey here: https://www.facebook.com/Blixen-p%C3...1406118161479/

Re: Got a plastic classic?

Albin Vega 1001, all original

During Corona Lockdown I had opportunity to work her over. usually, she is just cruising the Atlantic coast

The engine was the first unit of Volvo Penta MD7A, actually the original owner ordered the change from the Albin engine (Gasoline) to Volvo Penta (Diesel) after she was already ordered.

Hey Soren! I have S42 hull #7!

Also I run the Spencer Owners Group on Facebook! We have a very active community of Spencer owners there.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/SpencerYachtOwnersGroup

I took a look at your page, it looks like Blixen is in fine order, love the colors you have chosen for her.

Storfidra 25. Not many in North America but sought after and well loved around the Baltic.
