Kraken Milk

I threw a cocktail party (yep, fun times!), and my daughter (culinary adventurer) and I, wanted to invent our own (alcoholic) drink. After picking up "the encyclopedia of cocktails," we were on our way: there are over 2600 cocktails btw!! The coolest drinks were the ones with distinct visual "layers" between the different alcohols (who would've known they use this slick bartender spoon to help achieve the effect!). With a pair of pliers we bent our own spoon, and I really do think we made something that was A. "Layered," and B. Genuinely unique. We created a shot that I call "The Kraken's Ass," (which of course started a conversation about Kraken anatomy, and if they have an ass at all)

For a single shot/ small quick drink:

1. One part Chai concentrate.
2. One part Bailey's Irish Cream.
(These two won't layer, but will mix)
3. One part Kraken Black Spiced Rum.
(This can be made to float on top as it's own layer).

My hope is that you may suggest a ?smoother?
Black rum , though this wasn't at all bad (47% proof). Altogether a stout shot, with a smooth spicey finish... quite wonderful in fact.

Please chime in!

Xxoo
