Yes, we dried and powdered ginger once. But I'm too impatient waiting out the drying process, so we normally just use the freshly chopped variety.

Although we tried about 70% of the mixes, there are many we have not done yet. We collected|borrowed|"stole" most of the mixes from other chefs, cooks and books
over the years and were not created by us.
