Spices, herbs, wines, oils, pots, pans, and spoons.

Oh ... and food, fuel, matches, and an appetite.

That should about do it, assuming you know some recipes and how to cook gourmet food.

I don’t have a list but I can recommend that you buy smaller quantities of spices (small containers) rather that trying to save a money buying in bulk... spices lose potency fast and they are commonly available. Best to buy quantity in smaller containers so the other remain unopened and flavorful.

Sorta depends on what kind of "gourmet" stuff YOU like. You can make your own checklist, over time...

So I decided to check out RV lists as the challenges are pretty much the same, small space, small fridges, small stoves and ovens, etc. I'm posting this for other newbies. If you check the list out, some items are obviously not boat oriented, but the majority of the list works. By the way, in the RV world you can purchase a folding calondar that I quite like and obviously takes up less space:

 Toilet paper
 Facial tissue
 Toiletry kit: lip balm, deodorant, nail clippers, files, tweezers, razor, etc.
 Skin care: lotion, powder, night cream, etc.
 Hair Necessities: brush, comb, hair ties, etc.
 Pharmacy: anti-inflammatories, antacids, prescriptions, allergy, etc.
 Sleep aids: Earplugs, eye-mask, mini-fan, lavender essential oil, etc.
