Hi all, Just joined in, we're Deb, Tom & Nora on Dreams Afloat, a '95 35 Hunter out of Portsmouth, RI. We're pretty much local coastal cruisers, with some hopes for cruising in our future. Thx in advance to all, enjoying the chat.

hi, i'm in r.i too, what kind of cruising do you do? i'm thinking of going to the vineyard then block, then home (pt.judith) (or the other way, all depends) might be a week, might be two, am thinking mid may depart, sail to the vineyard, spend a few, sail to block, . . . let me know if you're in.

Welcome! You are in a wonderful cruising area. Lots of great places just minutes or days away. Don't forget to tuck in to Dutch Harbor. Walk in to Jamestown and have an ice cream while watching the "Yachties" sailing into Newport. There's a great oyster bar there too.......now I'm getting hungry.
