Hi All,
Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful info we have found here. I have spent hours reading forums I had no idea I would be interested in.
We are currently shopping for a trailer able boat maybe a Hunter or Catalina to get started on in the local lakes in preparation for undertaking some extended cruising even full time in the next 5 to ten years. I just want to get started sailing and get all the experience and hard knocks out of the way on a boat that we can enjoy on weekends and learn the ropes on. I am sure we will be posting our mistakes along the way.
Thanks again
Pat

Welcome! Great decision to start small. Gain confidence and experience before the big investment.
