Greetings from Eastern Washington

Hello all! Newbie here. Bought MAC 25 last Summer and learning a lot. I know enough to see that I have a lot more to learn but I'm enjoying it. Learning the joys of boat maintenance this year. Nothing major yet, but we have several projects ahead of us. We sail out of Bayview, ID which is on LakePend Oreille. It's a huge lake and can get quite nasty at times. I'll be looking around to learn what I can about tasks I am undertaking. I think I'll like it here.

I used to sail on Flathead Lake MT.

Hi neighbor! I just thought it was funny that the first thing I saw was another Washingtonian - even if it is the other side of the state.

Aloha Jerry,
Welcome aboard!
Good to have you here. I haven't done much lake sailing but I'd imagine that the weather can change quickly and the winds change direction quite frequently. I suppose it isn't always in the 80 deg. temp range?
You've got the right size boat to learn on.
Kind regards,
JohnL
