Re: anyone sen this boat in person?

I've never been on it but I've gone past it a few times. Don't know if that helps.

Re: anyone sen this boat in person?

fast response.

I am wondering how accurate the listing appears. hate to waste my time traveling that far to go see it if it's not.

You should google it. Some of the greatest motor yachts ever built.

Asking whether a Feadship is worth a look is like asking whether a Bentley is worth a drive.

Re: Anyone Seen This Boat In Person?

I'd hate to have to replace any of the planking $$$$$. But I guess if one could afford the slip/haul-out then whats a few pieces of hard to find wood. $100K is an inviting # for a less then adequate sponsor.

Rather then say owner, it may end up in the hands of someone getting a loan. So the bank owns it until it's paid off. A Sponsor!

BS alert!!!

Red light!

I just read this on the ad: "INSPIRATION is the oldest running FEADSHIP on the water today." Here's the link: 1952 Feadship Motoryacht Power New and Used Boats for Sale - www.yachtworld.co.uk

That's total crap. Feadship Hull #1, its keel having been laid at the beginning of WW2, is on the same dock as Bash's boat. It goes out several times a month, and was out twice during the America's Cup World Series a week ago. Its first mate was in my saloon this morning for a cup of coffee.

Hard to understand why yacht brokers are so unconcerned about telling the truth.

That's why I ask here. Never seen a truthful broker ad.

Ah. Nah. Cash is king. No debt for me other than child support. I am free and clear.
