Stand Up Paddleboard rental for Bahamas charter

There's got to be a more economical way to rent an SUP than from a charter base out of Nassau! $165/week is on the high end to me when you can own one for $110 from Amazon. The difficulty with that though is transporting it from home. The other approach I have been pursuing is contacting rental places on-island. These places only rent out by the hour or day/half day. What to do??

Re: Stand Up Paddleboard rental for Bahamas charter

$165 for a week of any form of entertainment seems a great deal to me, but you could look at inflatables if you prefer to own something permanently. I had one on my boat, it was expensive, maybe $700, but very nice, until I realized it was only fun for a week, then sold it for about a $165 loss. Pick your poison!

It’s not unusual to see a huge stack of SUP’s at a boat show vendor selling them cheap. Turns out they are returns from a-holes who buy them, use them for the week vacation, then return them. If any of you do this kind of thievery please just stop.

you suck it up and pay it. In the grand total of the vacation, it is a rounding error
