What is/was the name of the boat?

Our Documentation Number is seven digits. Maybe the guy running the router couldn't read the fifth digit from the paper he was copying it from because it got folded into the owner's pocket on the flight from Seattle. So he put in a dash. Try inserting different digits into that spot when you use the NVDC search function. It might come up with your boat.

Old CG doc numbers initially were 6 digits. They went to 7 sometines in the early 80s.

We don't know whether this boat was actually ever Documented . If it was, we don't know when it may have been Documented (not necessarily when it was first built.) Lots of dead ends. Maybe get out your plane and remove the numbers. Then apply to NVDC for Documentation.
