Portlight Gasket replacement

My ancient portlights need new gaskets. I have bought neoprene cord to make new gaskets from but curious as to best method to adhere them to the plastic frames. Friction alone, instant glue or Sikaflex. Other options. Old discontinued PYHI ports.

3M Glazing tape, industrial grade.

Avoid neoprene solutions. UV gets it sooner.

Re: Portlight Gasket replacement

Used 1/4" neoprene cord from McMaster Carr. Used Gorilla instant glue. Gasket fits in a channel in the interior, very little UV. Now with new, soft gasket, do not have to tighten the ports as much to prevent leakage. Works perfectly!
