lpg wiring

dumb question
redoing wiring, do i need to power the LPG solenoid first from the panel switch then then the shut off in the galley or should i run to the galley then to the solenoid ? or does it matter

On my Pearson 422 it is wired this way and I think it's the optimum.

First from the switch on the DC the hot/+ wire from that runs to the matching switch in the galley by the stove. From the galley switch the + wire continues to the solenoid in the propane locker and from there back to the main panel ground.

With this setup both switches have to be ON for the solenoid to work and turning off either switch will turn off the gas. That way you can leave the switch ON at the panel if you're using the stove for an extended period but you can switch it off conveniently if you want right at the stove.

Also in an emergency you have a shutoff right there at the stove to reach quickly but if you can't reach it due to flames you can still shut off at the DC panel.
