Boyce mast

Hi guys, I have just finished working on a customers seawolf 26 and is now up for sale.
During a sea test today the boom came away from the gooseneck and two plastic halves of a insert fell on the deck. They seem to just push back together and can be put in the gooseneck and then the boom pushes back into place (not having to be raised high).
Not sure if the plastic is worn and the fault or if I can just rescue or if I am missing a part. No information on Google for Boyce. Any one know who might be the best contact? Any help much appreciated as ever. Steve

Re: Boyce mast

I have now found a c clip on the deck which looks like it holds the plastic joint together. Anyone shed any light please.

Re: Boyce mast

Just updating my own post to hopefully help others. Apparently there are 1 but probably 2 c clips that hold things together. Parts ordered so will update.

Re: Boyce mast

I'll be interested if anyone knows about these plastic halves that fit together to attach the boom to the gooseneck. It's always surprising to hear of new and strange gear.

Re: Boyce mast

The boom connects via a claw that goes around the plastic insert as a kind of joint.
