Please help me identify this paddle wheel speed sensor

Hello,

Our paddle wheel speed sensor is leaking.
I would like to get new gaskets and also also know where I could get a replacement, if needed, before I take it out.

I however couldn't find any markings on the sensor.

While this is not as important, I would be curious what brand and model the actual knot meter is. It's logo looks like 'BVS' or 'BMS', Google however doesn't provide any results.

It would be great if somebody knew what we have!

Oliver

I think it's EMS, Electro Marine Systems, possibly defunct, look at bottom of the attached page for logo like on your instrument. Pages showing speed transducer also looks like yours.

Looks like Moor/EMS closed in 2015, ongoing support seems to be with Big Blue Enterpises ans EBAY store:

Re: Please help me identify this paddle wheel speed sensor

NOt specifically familiar with these transducers but most such rely upon o-rings to seal the body... and o-rings are made to standard sizes. So, take the sensor out and carry it to an industrial seal/bearing shop and they will be able to replace them with new ones.

If you have the blanking plug, it will almost surely use the same o-rings and it would serve as a model for you.
