Baba 30 shaft log size

Hello friends. It’s time to replace the PSS shaft seal on my 1978 baba 30. I can’t exactly measure the diameter of the shaft log without removing the old one. Which I can’t do while in the water.
Has anyone done that or have records of the size?

I used a compass and the best I can estimate is 2 1/2 inches but not exactly accurate.
Thanks for reading

Would it be worth trying PYI (or other supplier) to advise?

Might be best to check with the Baba 30 website?
