Sailing catamaran 40-44ft. 200k€

Hi everyone!
I have been reading on this forum for a long time, and for about two years I have been looking to buy a catamaran, and the time has come for the big step.
My search is:
  • True catamaran (not condomaran) but my budget does not allow me to buy outremer, gunboat, HH, ...
  • Length: 40-44ft
  • Age: max 25 years old
  • Location: Mediterranean (best) America/Caribbean (second best)
  • Well equipped to live on (solar panel, wind turbine, ...)
  • Galley up (not a must)
  • Budget 200k euros

Thanks for the help!

What does this mean? True catamaran (not concondomaran). What is a concondomaran?

With respect too, suggest that you be more specific with the help you require from forum members. Do you mean people should like list boats for sale in the thread, or suggest variant make/models, good places to learn to sail/gain experience perhaps find a partner, what help?

And have you ruled out trimarans?

And just whilst we're here, for myself, if I weren't happy with boat I have I'd look for the wonderfully simple yachts of James Wharram. Every owner I've met, (and I've met quite a few now), with one of those boats are happy and contented and best of all, they never seem to have to spend much time doing maintenance like most other cruisers.

From the wonders of the Youtube algorithm I've had all manner of Wharram related vids promoted since the earlier post.

But here's one I think really shows the uniqueness of the design/build. The video shows a Wharram being put together for launches after being built. She's trucked in 3 separate components to the launch ramp; the two canoes and the deck. Then assembled, mast stepped etc.
