Spare Volvo SW pump assembly

Volvo TMD31D 100HP turbo - I'm keen to buy a spare saltwater pump assembly from somewhere where they won't charge me $1,000. Any ideas how this might be done? I am based in Western Australia.

Look for a Johnson F7B9 10-24394. In the US my first call would be Depco,(727) 446-1656, but there're plenty of suppliers that show up on the internet. A 10-24277-3 can also be used but you'd have to thread the inlet and outlet for pipe barbs.

jimbunyard: thanks very much for that. Your comment: "plenty of suppliers that show up on the internet" has me surprised and a little embarrassed because I may not have done my groundwork. I haven't got any such hits before but maybe I didn't try as hard as I need to. Thanks again.

A quick look says that I've got the choices you suggest - thanks again. I can't even buy one in Australia for half the expected price.

No need for embarassment, back in the days before I found money wasn't paramount, that information would have cost you between 10 percent or some percentage below MSRP...i.e. I was in the business of finding hard to find resources and solutions for mostly industrial customers.

Now I know better, so if you find it for a more equitable price, glad to help.

Sure it's not 3583115? If so, that's the one he needs.
