Hello Lepke
Regarding my queries on 120/240 split phase inverters/chargers - you say you are using the Magnum MS-PAE 48v inverter. making 240v split phase. I was concerned about using the PAE vs. the plain MS (Mobile) that will only give you 120V, and I finally was able to talk to someone at Sansata(poorly, could barely understand, not because of accent, because of echo and other operators voices). The one thing I got out of the conversation is that with the PAE, there was no Ground Bond. And that the only way to safely generate a split phase on a boat was by running either 120 single phase or 240 single phase through a Victron Autotransformer to generate two 120V circuits with that neutral leg. Is yours working without that, and or are you just being careful not to get a shock somehow? I am pretty good with electricity, but I really don't get the part about neutrals and bonding, etc.
Thanks,
Bill
Personally, no, while I will admit to using ice. We do have to allow for strange habits among other cruisers, and rumor has it that some of them do put water, and even soda water, in single malt scotches.
