perkins dry liners without a press, there are videos on youtube, it involves starting a long skinny screwdriver between the block and the liner and slowly tap it down, one person used a heat torch inside the liner while tapping it down which resulted in one thin strip coming off the liner and then just pull out the liner with pliers, he chipped at it without heat and the liner just breaks into pieces till you get to the bottom is another way, the liners are brittle, another person was able to get the screwdriver all the way down the side with no heat, dont overheat the block, can stop let it cool off and come back, no pressing involved, showed no damge to block wall, do this method at your own risk, I am doing it now.
