Is that true of Ishmael herself or just baby Ishmael?

How hard would it be to convert an A-frame Searunner 31 to a vented wing design, and perhaps increase the beam to 22 feet in the process?

Call John Marples and ask. His contact info is at the bottom of this page:

Might be easier and cheaper to sell the boat you have and buy the one you want.

Has anyone heard from Roy on Wilderness or Mark on Delpheys as they use to post on this sight quite often.

Hi, I am looking for a surveyor with good knowledge of searunners in the Norfolk area. Any recommendations?

Which Searunner are you looking at?

I already own it. The survey is for insurance (and a little bit for my peace of mind).

Re: Trimaran - Especially Searunner - Owners

Have done a little transports (3 days) on a searunner which our friend owns (the 31 ft). They aren't fancy boats but very functional. Only thing I didn't like was it steered like a bit of a pig (tiller boat) which in NY harbor was interesting lol. I'm not a big fan of the center cockpit design on it, but our friends have done multi-week cruising on it comfortably, and my husband brought it up from Annapolis to the mid-Hudson valley offshore in rough weather and said it was very good offshore (other than their holding tank exploding)!

I have a sea runner 40 Jim Brown Design. I just had it surveyed. Its a nice vessel in my opinion and suits my wants and needs perfectly. Its a lovely vessel with a rich cruising history. Im so blessed.

Re: Trimaran - Especially Searunner - Owners

Do you think it's possible for me to remove my centerboard on my 31' Searunner while the boat is still in the water? I'm having a hard time finding diagrams online.

Re: Trimaran - Especially Searunner - Owners

Keep your centre board because over 20 knots going to windward its a game changer to get to where you want to go to.
