unfortunately on this particular model the factory opted for heavy interior grp mouldings throughout, on the factory finished version which made them very heavy,floating about 4 inches below the designed waterline from new.

I however don't have this problem as the mouldings are no longer available to the home builder,and am using the the plans for the earlier lighter model that used only plywood for the interior,with a weight saving of about 600 kg.

That's just about the weight of the new SM tub! (unfilled of course... you would never have it filled underway.... )

While not as critical on the 'ol cataroos... I Uhm... kept the CG reeeeealy low in the hull... I think SM will like it....

was onboard today doing a bit of glassing but as usual the batteries were flat in the camera

I will get some new ones and take some photos of all the new Bling
