Does anyone have information about marinas in Southwest Florida (Port Charlotte, Ft. Myers) that can take a 38' catamaran with 23' beam, 4' draft and 58' mast? I'm looking for an annual slip.

I'll take a look today but we have some big cars here. Well, the two slips near me are 21' so you may be right. Maybe the dock with all the cats is wider?

We were at Burnt Store in February, looking at slips for a cat. There are several cats in there now around 50 ft long, so 38 ft wouldn't be problem. It was an expensive marina as they put you in two slips and you pay for both, due to width. There are no end ties or T-heads available, as they leave those vacant for navigation purposes.

There's not a lock to get into Burnt Store. It has about 10 cats there of various sizes (Helia and Leopard 46 among the biggest I believe).

Regatta Pointe in Cape Coral is another option.

The lock you’re thinking of is at Cape Harbour Marina in Cape Coral. Burnt Store has many large cats and they do have some located on T ends of docks so not two slips.

I called Burnt Store again as your post is different than what they told me in person in February, and what we observed while there. Phone:+1(941) 637-0083. This is what they said just a few minutes ago. There are no cats on T-heads and they do not allow that. (The explanation I was given in February was they didn't want boats to stick out that far into the channel.) The rate for catamarans taking up two slips is 1.5x the single slip rate. There are only a few slots for cats, and right now they are filled, and have a waiting list with six cats on it.

We are looking for a slip for a Seawind 1160 Lite (38 ft) cat arriving later this year. Burnt Store marina monthly rate is currently $16.50 per foot, plus metered elec. For a 38 ft cat, that's $940 per month (with the 1.5x cat premium), plus electric. Is that more or less the going rate for the area?

Burnt Store; no end tie cats, other than the 1.5x for cats (which I've never asked about) the slips are priced normally for the area. One of the few marinas that had availability when I got here.
