    Hello David,
I noticed that you owned one of the 2009 37' Leopard Powercat. I have been looking at on the is in Puerto Rico that is listed for sale. I am trying to estimate fuel cost to move the boat back to the US and was wander what your experience is with fuel usage at various cruising speeds. Do you run with only one engine?

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi David,
    Back in 2015 you said...
I was also able to do the full section 179 deduction because I am an "active" participant on the charter of my boat and have no guaranteed plan. That's what excludes much of the opportunity through the Moorings. I would be happy to PM with anyone who wants to hear more of what I went through in researching how to buy my boat and get the full year one tax deduction.

I'd love to hear your charter ownership story. Financing, tax advantages, the company you chose and why, etc.

My husband and I are doing our research and hope to make some decisions late this year.

    Thanks!
    Laurie
