Highly modified Lagoon

Is this a modified Lagoon? Looks like bow and stern extensions.

Yes, look's very much like a modifiied lagoon 420 or 421. Interessting to know if any higher performance was acheived.

Re: Highly modified Lagoon

Looks like maybe 6’ of waterline added so should have added some performance and maybe a smoother ride?
Looks like added flotation just above the waterline on the sterns?

Re: Highly modified Lagoon

Gday everyone, I can confirm that the Lagoon is a 420. The rear cockpit cover is way higher than a 421. Not only has the transom been modified but by far the biggest mod is on the bows. Look very strange in my opinion. The bow appears to have been exended, then raised significantly about its normal line.

i am really happy for you that lockdown finished so your moods have clearly improved and you back to normal you. Must have felt like in prison in these moldy sydney properties. Hope it is not too hard getting back to corona infested work space. I am very happy to be out of this nightmare.

this is not our boat and i dont like visually what i see on pic. But probably adds some speed and extra space at the stern.

Waiting patiently for QLD border to hopefully open this year to experience tropics

doing some projects in meantime. i am quite excited about net next to driver seat so one can drive from net, much more comfy. Prototype to be finished today.

Well, we've eased restrictions but lockdown hasn't finished. But, thank you, I appreciate the sentiment.

I left Sydney last year to move home to the Gold Coast so I've been walking along the beach most days to keep my mood up. We're ok for the border to remain closed for now
