Haha great minds... there’s just bugger all cats available here - whereas I could think of 6 (just from this thread) in the US I’d be happy to go with!

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I think that 45' Horstman could be the reason I've made it 200+ pages in. Nada photos so far.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
12.8m cat for sale in the Netherlands:
https://m.boat24.com/uk/sailboats/ca...detail/436014/
Key info:
- .6m bridge deck clearance
- good size berths
- rigging’s been re-done recently
- has been used in the North Sea (which is a pretty **** place to sail frankly!)
I’m tempted to go have a look at it once lockdown lifts. Could be a good one for chopping the cabin top off and raising it’s height to make the boat more usable.
My only concern is it only weighs 2000kg... seems a bit light to me?

And another one:

Kelsal 450. Sadly I think this has sold (and I’m not surprised by that really) but would definitely make a cracking boat!

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
I was a bit fast and had read 6m instead of ". 6m" or "0.6m" :-)

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
That Horstman, named "manta' according to the ad (hence confusion over brand) looks like a reasonable buy at $70K

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects
Depends on condition of course, Jeff sounded like he wants more room.
Mantas were the pre Searunner Tri's by Jim Brown. He carried the logo over to the later range.
