Kelly Peterson 44 1980

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking to buy my first liveaboard boat, I am looking at a Kelly Peterson 44 Centre Cockpit, 1980. The boat itself is in average condition with advanced dry rot around most of the side hatches, which will require the timber to be cut out and replaced (the seals have been done, but the damage already has been done) there are some other window/hatch leaks around the place which will also need to be looked at.

I'm assuming the hull is sound, and I will be getting a survey done to confirm this, overall the boat is in a very average condition and will need time and money put into it, motor & rigging are good.

Would anyone be able to suggest what a fair price range would be for this boat.

Have you tried searching for comparable KP 44's? Take into consideration the time and money you'll need to spend to get her into shape and make an offer. Or maybe post a photo of the boat?
