Shouldn’t be a problem. It was free after all.

Not sure where you got all that from, but at least I'm not paying $50-$70 per month to store a bow sprit which you will be doing if you buy that last boat you like so much.
My boat wasn't free; I paid $2,000 for it in 2011.
Probably have another $15,000 in it after all these years with the replacement and upgrading of
gear plus
solar,
batteries controllers, inverters,
computers, autopilots, sails, etc.
My boat doesn't go to windward well if the breeze is up which it has to be for me to hit 7 knots as I was doing here for about 3 hours.
I'm lucky to get within 60 degrees of the wind going upwind in 20 knots with this boat or more whereas on the last 2 beach cats I raced I could sail 30-35 degrees off the wind upwind in pretty heavy winds.
And btw, this was about 2 hours into this crossing after things had laid down a bit, and I was in sync enough to steer and
record a video.
Winds were gusting to around 35 knots on this crossing, and I was certainly worried about my 20 year old backstay.
