Re: European alternative to Pacific Secraft Dana 24?

Speaking of European alternatives, this is even used outside my budget, but it is interesting non the less - Cornish Crabber 24 version Mk 4, full keel, standing 6ft+ headroom, offshore passage maker. This might be the UK answer to the US mini cruisers, thou obviously the whole design philosophy is a different one, and it is not a ocean vessel, still quite capable, luxurious, and comfortable, but well expensive

Looks quite ocean capable to me. Even more so than the Dana 24, I'd say.

Re: European alternative to Pacific Secraft Dana 24?

Maybe Daniel you could look for an Amigo 27: an extremely well built Folkboat-with-more-body of 25.26 feet with 25,55 m2 sail, `almost' 27. Standing height 6 feet. Blue water capacity: S/Y Kajsa Amigo 27, Marpormedio.es, Jester Challenge 2008.

Yes the Amigo seems to be a affordable boat fitting the requirements, thanks.
(Only the Sail Area to Displacement) under 13 will make it rather slow, but there is always a trade off

Westerly makes some people's short list of pocket cruisers, and are made/common in the UK
