Re: Cal 20

hey little late in reading and responding but there has been a cal 20 in the san fran craigslist for 500$ for the past few months. no trailer. great boat i went out to look at it. solid deck and i weighed 230 at the time. it just needed the mast to be re stepped and this is him quoting me he said it would be 250$ for parts and he would help who ever bought it do it. i almost bought it but i bought a cool sailing dinghy instead i have no idea why.

Re: Cal 20

Just joined the site so please excuse me as I stumble about a bit.

A month ago, I had an old dirty deserted Cal 20 land in my lap. Full disclosure, it was mine 20 years ago. My immediate issue is the mast mount or base. Its hinged and all the 1/4 inch bolts which secure the mast to the base are broken off and the male part of the fixture is in very rough shape indeed. I have located a seller of such things but I suspect that they are out of business. Any sugggestions would be appreciated. Im in Ucluelet in British Columbia. thanks
