Hello to All from So. Cal

Greetings everyone,

I actually stumbled onto this forum while researching another project, and I'm glad I did!

I own, liveaboard and am rebuilding an '82 Grand Banks Motoryacht which I purchased in Anacortes, WA
(mostly in peices) last year.

She's a great boat, but I should have bought stock in West Marine ahead of time. . .

At any rate, I registered because I read a post who's author I think I can help out with some info, so that's my next mission.

It's good to meet everybody!

Welcome aboard from another So Cal boater.

We brought an Irwin 37 from Key Largo to here by truck and I am still fixing a few things.

If your not in an organization yet you may want to think about our Power Squadron group in Long Beach. We have lots of activities and classes plus our members get a port supply card. If your restoring a boat it can save you a ton of cash. Ore next meeting will have world cruiser Laurie Pane as guest speaker.

Interested? Send me a PM.

Grand Banks..sweet. Hope you will have some pictures up soon.
Welcome to the forum
Erika

PS
West marine price matches. So just print up the defender or whoever price off the internet (because it is always cheaper!!) and they will match it. Doesn't work for batteries or heavy shipping items but you still save a bundle.
