Yes the Joubert designs are not as well known as other Australian built yachts of the 70s and 80s. There isn't much info online.

The Magpie is a bit like and S&S 34. Not as well known or perhaps as pretty though.

It seems very well constructed.

A twin masted, approx 40 foot, Mono parked beside me at Yaringa was bought for $15,000 two weeks ago,
The two blokes sailing it are currently on their way back to Qld, They left last Friday,
One of them has a Trimaran moored at Noosa,
It was a nice looking boat,

Not entirely sure those top sides look way better than they did three weeks ago. I will be interested to see how long that gloss lasts? How is the new prop?
