This story is right. At least in the US, money is flowing out of banks like a broken candy machine. Used, ready to cruise boats are in high demand. Also, new boats are selling well due to record low interest rates that do not seem to be rising anytime soon. The dollar is weak against the Euro as a result of low interest rates in the US.

The hottest selling boats are probably high end pontoon boats ($50K to $100K) but there is strong demand for cruising cats and monos too. That will remain as long as there is cheap money.

Why would anyone save $ to buy a boat when they can get a loan at 5% interest? You can put your cash to work earning twice that rate and go cruising.

The world is not in a depression....yet.
