Living the Dream . . . Sad, Sad Dream !
This is not a complaint but a sad realisation of the world we have created...when I was a non sailor all this has never struck me in anyway...but now I see it and it is real.
How did it happen? our waterways ar invaded, not talking about foreing species...no I am talking about the trillion speed boats and the likes...not the average cruiser enjoying the eavening on the water...but the brainless, careless and desrespectfull speed demons that poluts are waterways...The scary part is that I havent even left small town Trois Rivieres yet??????
The way I see it...I will be voyaging on medications...pleas dont be ofended if I dont see you out there.

No speed limits and no noise limits on the water.

Trois Rivies.. Isn't that close to where they build Sea Do's? Another plague on the water.
I suspect Mother Nature feels the same way. She will likely get fed up someday and get rid of all of us.

Just sail on cold, rainy, blustery days, the boat will go faster, you will really appreciate a cup of tea, and there won't be ten thousand idiots around! That or get to some salty water.
